 Neurolink

What is Neurolink (NIS)?

NIS bases its treatment methods on the neurophysiology principle that the brain governs optimum function of all the body systems.  This in essence makes the brain, not the practitioner, the most knowledgeable and qualified to diagnose and correct patient’s complaints.  Practitioners using NIS in their practice will be evaluating them to investigate the status of all your body’s function (glands, organs muscles, tendons, ligaments) as they work together - from the neurological point of view.

The brain controls optimum function, through its neurological circuitry. It is constantly receiving information from every facet of the body, and in turn sends back ‘fine tuning’ messages, many times per second. This means every cell, gland, organ, muscle, tendon etc in the body is constantly monitored via these circuits to the brain.

When each of us were born, we were born with a DNA template unique to each of us. That template determines 'normal' and optimum function. The brain operates within the parameters of that template. The parameters of that template represent our individual tolerances. Muscles, glands, tendons, ligaments etc all have tolerances. The tolerances of one person are very different to those of the next. When the body ‘breaks down’ – physically, pathologically, chemically or emotionally, this means that there are tolerances that have been exceeded. Now symptoms of pain and illness start. There is now some body function that is working at a lowered potential.

NIS uses a set of prioritised treatment protocols that assess the function of all the body’s systems, and all the factors that have or could translate themselves to symptoms. These protocols will identify aspects of physiology that are not functioning to the potential of the respective individual.
In evaluating the function of the body’s systems from a neurological point of view, this means the underlying CAUSES of symptoms are being addressed and not the symptoms themselves. Neurolink’s NIS leverages the brain’s profound ability to restore the body and all its systems to full potential.

The brain must be in control of ALL body function to:
1. Resolve the real underlying causes of pain, ill-health and disease
2. To get sustainable result for complaints
3. To get the body back working at optimum potential as it should be for that individual

Principles of NIS

Principle #1

Based on the neurological premise that the brain (not the mind) governs all of the normal and optimum body function.  Neuroscience is the basis upon which all NIS protocols are based.  Therefore the brain, rather than the practitioner per se, must be the most accurate and definitive source for evaluating and correcting complaints.

Principle #2

The brain makes the corrections to the patient – not the practitioner.
Practitioners using NIS rely on the neurological feedback from the brain to determine and correct dysfunction.  The practitioner is a FACILITATOR in the correction process and does not initiate any corrective procedures.  In facilitating the resetting of the neurological circuitry the BRAIN WILL MAKE THE CORRECTIONS.

Principle #3

NIS does not treat labelled complaints, per se – rather it returns all body systems to their optimum function (for that individual) so in turn any symptoms will resolve.

Why Does The Body Break Down In The First Place?

The human body is born with maximum tolerances. One principle of neurophysiology is, the brain operates within a set of parameters, dictated by the unique DNA of each of us. When all body systems function within our individual ‘template’ of parameters we have great health.

From time to time stresses cause our individual tolerances to be exceeded. They can be physical, pathological, chemical or emotional. This is when the body will start to show symptoms of pain and/or illness. An exceeded threshold may be thought of as a broken circuit. The brain is no longer in full ‘communication’ with certain facets of function. What happens now is the body endeavours to compensate.

These thresholds are essentially thresholds of stress. The meaning of stress, and how each individual reacts to it varies. How it affects our individual health will vary. Our tolerance levels to the same stresses are different. Therefore what is stressful for you to the extent of affecting your health will be completely different for the person next to you. That is why some people will always be bound to catch the latest bug that is going around, when another person can be subject to the same environment and never catch it.

Why is NIS different?

Neurological Integration System works on the following premise:
The brain knows about 100% of body function. For the body to be well, the brain must be in control of ALL body’s systems. Unless the brain can acknowledge (not be trained or stimulated) and then resume control of the dysfunction, a patient’s health will never be at its optimum potential.

Differences in the Diagnostic/assessment phase:
In philosophy NIS may sound similar to other methods, which is not surprising given that well documented principles of neurophysiology are the backdrop for NIS. NIS uses a muscle test, also common to other methods. It is what the NI system is evaluating, with the muscle test that is very different. The NIS protocols evaluate the status of the body’s systems as they function as an integrated being. All other methods evaluate only portions or certain facets of function at a time. No verbal interrogation is used.

Differences in the Corrective/Treatment phase:
Other methods of healthcare involve corrective action on the patients body that in itself modulates change. This ranges from tapping reflexes or tapping the spine to, stimulating muscles to create/modulate change.  With NIS - the brain initiates the correction.  This can not be said for any other method.

There are some methods that although they are encompassing the brain in the ‘equation’, there is still some form of modulation or stimulation being made by the practitioner to initiate the correction.

  • In NIS the practitioner does not modulate anything
  • In NIS the practitioner does not train the brain/CNS towards normal function

The brain does not need to be trained. The brain already knows what should be normal function for each patient. It only needs to acknowledge there is a problem. Then...it can immediately resume control of the problem.

How does NIS work?

When the brain is controlling all the body systems

  • there is nothing to treat
  • there are no complaints

If the tolerance of any body system is exceeded
  • there is something wrong
  • brain control becomes limited
  • potential function becomes reduced

NIS uses a system of sequential and prioritised protocols to evaluate and correct any areas of dysfunction in any of the bodys' systems.  NIS accesses...
every muscle
every cell
every gland/organ
every vein/ artery
every body system...nervous, cardiovascular, endocrine, reproductive, lymphatic, digestive etc etc

What does NIS treat?

Under ONE umbrella, NIS is a systematic means that addresses all underlying issues that could lead to one or more of 600,000 symptoms.

Many patients are able to testify to amazing results they have received as a result of NIS, however NIS itself claims to cure NOTHING, per se. The NIS practitioner is merely a facilitator, who is able to use the brain as a 'clearing house" to restore optimum function to all body systems.

When the brain feeds back 'data' to the practitioner, often the real reasons for ill health are revealed. This may provide hope for cases that otherwise are termed 'hopeless".  With this optimum function, often the symptoms of ill health and disease will be resolved.

What areas of complaint can NIS assist with?

  • Neurological and neurological injury resulting from accident/trauma
  • Structural and muscular complaints
  • Learning & behavioral difficulties – ADD/ADHD/Dyslexia, Aspergers
  • Pathological (Infection based) – viral, bacterial and fungal.  Includes all issues relating to the immune system.
  • Fertility   (both male and female)
  • Hormonal (both male and female)
  • Mental and emotional disorders
  • Skin disorders
  • Digestive System - resulting in sinus and mucous issues
  • Migraine
  • Allergies - both food and chemical toxicity, hay-fever
  • Auto-immune
  • Insomnia – poor sleeping patterns
  • Heart and Cholesterol - blood pressure, venous and arterial supply
  • Chronic Fatigue/Fybromyalgia
  • Poor organ function – bowel, liver, bladder, etc.
  • Stress-related illnesses
  • Respiratory (asthma)
  • Eyes – Glaucoma, astigmatism

  • What NIS Is NOT about

    • Is NOT stressful to the body
    • Is NOT an alternative medicine modality
    • Does NOT involve manipulation or invasive procedures
    • Does NOT require drugs, special diets or homework exercises to be effective
    •

Bio-Kinetics Health System

Bio-Kinetics is a series of procedures designed to locate and eliminate interference to the body's master control center caused by physical, emotional, chemical  electromagnetic disruptions in the body.  The procedures are primarily taught by Dr. Dennis Pick as a Self Care Program which is designed to enhance corrective procedures used by the doctors in the clinic.  The procedures are also taught by Dr. Dennis Pick to health care providers to administer to their patients.
